13. Judging Ourselves
80% of the thoughts we have each day are negative--and many of these thoughts are judgments about ourselves. You have probably heard that the best way to combat negative self-talk is with mindfulness, gratitude, and just "loving yourself." But it's difficult to change your mind when you have been thinking the same negative thoughts about yourself for as long as you can remember. In this episode we explore how our thoughts about our bodies and the view we have about ourselves as mothers--both positive and negative--serve a purpose. Understanding this is the first step to learning how to drop the negative judgments of ourselves.
